THE RAMADA CHAIR
The ramada chair is a benchmark of the Colombian popular culture with a contemporary discourse. It is the reinterpretation of the well-known Rímax chair made from solid wood. They are more than 20 pieces elaborated and carefully assembled by hand using the traditional technique of joinery. The typical Rímax chair that is found in every corner of our country, on every family outing, on pool and river vacations; and that for most goes unnoticed, it becomes an object of "desire" because of the change of material. It is a sculpture, a work of art, which highlights the beauty of wood grain in its natural state thanks to the curved shapes of the design, originally conceived by its creator to be made of plastic.
