Each piece is a representation of the sacred geometry of the cosmos, brought to art through the ancestral technique known as “tapestry-gualdrapa” and developed by the Wayúu-Iwouya indigenous community led by the artisan Cecilia Acosta. The Wayúu are an indigenous people that inhabit the Guajira peninsula, this community of matriarchal structure lives surrounded by exotic landscapes, deserts and starry nights in front of the blue sea.
