SMALL MACRO PATTERNS
The fabrics of San Jacinto are a set of patterns and lines in a large format. From one moment to the next and after a work of patience and mindfulness, a large canvas appears with drawings full of rhythm and color. Knitting is a meditative process, all your thoughts are captured there. Although by tradition they weave stripes or colored lines, Mariana Vieira's intention was to invite them to weave in macro the small patterns they used to make in some hammocks; create that same rhythm but with modules and figures.
